“Did I turn off the stove?”
Meet OCdragon. A private home for the little things you keep checking, designed to help you leave the house with less clutter and more peace of mind.
You know that feeling.
You’re halfway out the door. Then the thought appears: did I really turn it off?
Maybe you check again. Maybe you take a photo. Maybe you look at that photo three more times. Sound familiar?

01
The doubt
Keys in hand, one foot outside. Was the stove really off?
-
02
The check
Back inside, just to be sure. Everything is off. Of course it is.
-
03
The photo
A quick picture, so you can look later instead of turning back.
-
04
The repeat
On the bus, the doubt comes back. You open the photo. Then again.
Lots of people know this loop. If it takes up a lot of your day, that is worth talking to a professional about. When checking becomes a burden
A better home for the photos you’re already taking.
Your camera roll is for memories, not endless pictures of stove knobs and locked doors. OCdragon gives your checking photos their own private space.
Less clutter. More clarity.
Birthdays next to stove knobs. Holidays between twelve photos of the same lock. Switch the view to see what changes when checking photos get their own place.

Small steps. At your own pace.
OCdragon is exploring ways to help people gradually become more comfortable with everyday uncertainty. Our long-term vision is to move beyond organising checking photos, toward helping people rely on them less.
The idea we want to research: optional expiry windows that you could shorten, step by step, when you feel ready. It is inspired by principles from exposure and response prevention (ERP), but it is not ERP and not clinically validated.

Built on curiosity. Guided by science.
Compulsive checking is a well-studied behavioural pattern. Understanding why reassurance can become repetitive helps explain the thinking behind OCdragon.
Our approach draws on established psychological research. Our own product ideas still need scientific evaluation.

What is OCdragon?
OCdragon is a product in development, designed to give checking photos a dedicated private space, away from your camera roll.
Is OCdragon a therapy app?
Not currently. The first version focuses on photo organisation. Future behaviour-change features are being explored and will need appropriate research, safeguards and regulatory evaluation.
Who is OCdragon for?
People who repeatedly photograph everyday objects to reassure themselves that everything is okay, and who would like those photos out of their camera roll.
Are my photos private?
The planned Vault is designed around local storage and device-level protection. We will describe exact privacy guarantees once the technical implementation is final.
Can OCdragon help me stop checking?
That is part of our longer-term research ambition. We cannot currently claim that OCdragon reduces checking.
Ready to give those photos a home?
OCdragon is taking shape. Join the early-access list and be among the first to hear when it’s ready.
